An Assessment of Some Thermodynamic Treatments of Wool Dyeing Systems

This paper examines previous thermodynamic data for some acid dye/wool systems. On the basis of further experimental evidence, it is suggested that errors result if allowance is not made for hydrophobic dye - dye interactions in solution at lower dyeing temperatures.
