Loss in Fiber Tenacity During Separation in Rotor SpinningDepartment of Textile Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi 110016, India
Department of Textile Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi 110016, India During the opening of fibers by the opening roller, a considerable number of fibers suffer breakage at one or more points along their length. The vigorous action of the teeth of opening roller also causes a drop in fiber tenacity and elongation. Majority hooks fed in the leading direction cause a greater loss in tenacity than in the trailing direction.
