Improved Staple Processing Performance Through Air Charge Control

The air charge was changed from negative to positive in internal tests, and ring spinning ends down were significantly reduced for both 100% polyester and polyester cotton blends. This result was consistent with observations made in a mill. Mechanisms for air charge affecting staple processing are discussed.
