Structure and Properties of Aromatic Polyamide and Polyimide Fibers Commercially Available in the Former USSR

This paper presents information about the trade names, structures, properties, and applications of aromatic polyamide and polyimide fibers and yarns produced in the former Soviet Union. Standard specification requirements for all commercially avail able fibers, yarns, and tows are presented.
