Relation Between Twist Amplitude and Breaking Strength of Solospun Yams

Different twist amplitudes in Solospun and ring spun yarns are analyzed. The relation between breaking strength of the two yarn types is studied using a set of structural models of the yarns and the mathematical relation between twist amplitude and breaking strength. Finally, experiments prove the theoretical results.
